My best friend in the world has cancer and had a stoke and is depressed as hell ...?

They have had a really hard life growing up, like really hard. Dirt poor, hardly any food, and their dad died. THey were dignosed with brain cancer and had a stroke durring the surgery. THey still have cancer now and the stroke left him with a paralyzed left arm. they have been liek this for 3 yrs. they are 22 yrs old and are so depressed and do nothing all day ... i feel s bad and want to find stuff for them to do durring the day dose anyone have any ideas? this is so sad like he wants to die and is so depressed ... help !
